Today we're releasing a major update to our progress reporting and analytics capabilities. This release introduces VB-MAPP milestone charts, visual analytics dashboards, and exportable progress reports designed for multiple audiences — families, clinical supervisors, and insurance reviewers.
VB-MAPP Milestone Tracking
The Verbal Behavior Milestones Assessment and Placement Program (VB-MAPP) is one of the most widely used assessment tools in ABA therapy. Our new VB-MAPP integration brings this assessment into the digital workflow with interactive charts and tracking capabilities.
What's Included
- Milestone Assessment charts: Visual representation of all 170 milestones across the three levels, with color-coded completion status. Each domain (Mand, Tact, Listener, VP/MTS, Play, Social, Imitation, Echoic, Spontaneous Vocal, Reading, Writing, Math, and Group/Classroom) is displayed in an intuitive grid.
- Barriers Assessment: Track and visualize the 24 barriers to learning, with severity indicators and trend data over time.
- Transition Assessment: Monitor readiness across 18 transition areas to inform placement decisions.
- Comparison views: Overlay multiple assessment periods on a single chart to visualize growth trajectories across domains.
How to Use It
Navigate to any client's profile and select the "Assessments" tab. You can record new VB-MAPP data directly in the platform, and the charts update automatically. The visual format makes it easy to identify domains where the client is progressing rapidly and areas that may need increased focus.
Visual Analytics Dashboards
Data is only valuable when it's accessible and actionable. Our new analytics dashboards transform raw session and assessment data into clear, interactive visualizations.
Provider Dashboard
The provider dashboard gives clinicians a comprehensive view of their caseload:
- Goal progress overview: At-a-glance progress indicators for all active goals across all clients.
- Session frequency trends: Charts showing session completion rates, cancellations, and attendance patterns.
- Outcome summaries: Aggregate data on goal mastery rates, average time-to-mastery, and comparison across service types.
- AI-generated insights: Automated observations highlighting clients who may need attention — such as those showing plateau patterns or approaching authorization renewal windows.
Client/Family Dashboard
Families see a simplified, encouraging view of their child's progress:
- Overall progress circle: A single metric showing how many goals are on track, making it easy to see the big picture at a glance.
- Domain breakdowns: Colored progress bars for each treatment domain — Communication, Social Skills, Self-Care, Academic, and Behavior.
- Milestone timeline: A visual timeline of recent achievements and upcoming targets, helping families see the progress unfold over time.
- Session activity log: A record of recent sessions with brief notes from the provider, keeping families informed about what happens during each visit.
Exportable Progress Reports
One of the most time-consuming tasks for providers is compiling progress reports for different audiences. Our new export system generates polished, professional reports with a single click.
Report Types
- Family reports: Written in accessible language with visual charts, milestone highlights, and recommended home activities. Designed to be shared with parents and other family members.
- Clinical reports: Comprehensive documentation including assessment data, goal analysis, session metrics, and clinical recommendations. Suitable for supervisory review and team meetings.
- Authorization reports: Formatted specifically for insurance and funding source requirements, with the data points and language that payers expect to see when reviewing continued authorization requests.
Customization
Each report type supports customization — select which date range to cover, which goals to include, what level of detail to display, and whether to include raw data tables alongside the visual charts. Reports can be exported as PDF or printed directly from the platform.

- Charts are rendered using a high-performance visualization library that supports smooth animations and interactive tooltips.
- All data processing happens server-side, so chart generation is fast even for clients with extensive session histories.
- Reports are generated as vector-based PDFs for crisp printing at any size.
- The VB-MAPP grid layout adapts to screen size, from full desktop to mobile views.
